Nostalgia: The Barenaked Factor

Random nostalgia: reality TV gets Barenaked.

With The X Factor coming to an end for the year on our screens, and in a stretch to be topical, check out this new post where you can see the reality show format given a twist – a Barenaked twist. Back in 2005, Canadian Idol featured a very special episode dedicated to BNL. Read up about it and watch the videos here.

Movember results…

Here are the fully grown ‘tashes of the two Ladies taking part in Movember.

So there we have it – two newly moustachioed Canadians – nice work to anyone who donated to the brilliant cause!

Movember: Musicians with moustaches!

Ed and Tyler of BNL are taking part in Movember this year – you can donate to them.

Ed and Tyler of Barenaked Ladies are sprouting hair from the top of their lips like noone’s business this month – and all for a good cause!

‘Movember’ (the month formerly known as November) is a moustache growing charity event held during November each year that raises funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men. You can read more about the charity here.

You can see the early stages of Ed and Ty’s moustaches in the photos above, but things are gonna get bushier, so keep track of their hairy endeavours on the Canadian Movember site: Ed’s page is here and Tyler’s is here.

Check it out and donate what you can!
